![]() ![]() The Live Text Templates functionality has not been removed from After Effects. ![]() What it should be is a saved setup that is still editable in AE. One cannot use them in AE in anyway, aside from consolidating parameters for, perhaps, AE (e.g VideoHive) templates. I was hoping to be able to have a round-tripping ability to create deliverable templates that I could edit in AE. With a history of dynamic linking between AE and PPro, and even with Cinema 4d these days, I was really surprised to see this "AE" feature be a one-way option for editors. There are some real missed opportunities with this. ![]() Changes? Locate the original project and overwrite the old one. ![]() In an attempt to allow collaboration between editors and motion designers, they left out any options to collaborate back and forth. The big difference is that it is a one-way output, which I think was a big mistake. In fact, it's quite similar to how it used to be without the "check this box to make this AE comp a template" option. And it's a shame to say that when a lot of time and effort had to go into this feature. I guess this is a shining example of an "Adobe" feature and not specifically an After Effects feature. ![]()
